Losing your personal belongings in a disaster can be overwhelming. Our goal is to try and save everything possible from your electronics to personal papers. Often the best way to ensure no further damage occurs is to pack out your belongings and store them. Pack-Outs can be as simple as removing the contents of one room to be cleaned, dried, and stored during the restoration of damages to that room, or as complex as completely moving out all contents throughout the house while taking comprehensive and detailed inventories of every item.
Our Approach:
We start with a careful evaluation of what items are to be cleaned and salvaged, and which items are irreparably damaged. This task is accomplished by working with you and your insurance company every step of the way. To assist in the process we use a software program called POI. POI allows us to create digital inventories on site and in some cases have a complete and detailed contents inventory within 72 hours. This allows the insurance company to make quick decisions regarding your contents and whether they will decide to clean the items or replace them altogether.
After cleaning, deodorization and drying, we must decide on the type of storage that is required so no secondary damage occurs during the storage period. Is “dry” secure storage sufficient or do you have priceless artifacts, pictures, or furniture that must be properly packaged and stored in a temperature and humidity controlled environment? Rest assured that every possible consideration is taken during this process, treating your belongings as if they were our own.
