Virtual adjusting systems that use hardware and software to unite homeowners, insurers, and restoration experts. This is accomplished by sending a certified restoration professional, equipped with an internet-compatible video camera, to a property claim site. The camera is plugged into a phone jack or high-speed cable connection, and can then send live streaming video over a secure internet web site. From the comfort of the office, adjusters can agree to the scope of loss, direct the course of the inspection, and make real time decisions. If a picture is worth a thousand words, live streaming, full-motion video is priceless. Virtual adjusting is also much more than just the use of a webcam. The virtual adjusting process allows images, videos, diagrams, estimates and other claim data to be neatly stored in an insurer claim file. |
